New Orleans Saints + Verizon = Random Acts of Kindness Day

On June 16, 2012 The New Orleans Saints and Verizon Wireless sponsered a Random Acts of Kindness day. Magnolia was chosen to be part of this very special day where a group of New Orleans Saints come and spread smiles across the city. Here is a link to their video of that day.

Magnolia + New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood

We would like to thank New Oleans Hamburger and Seafood in Elmwood for building better lives! They have graciously welcomed us and allowed us to come in assist their waitstaff. This allows great on the job training and excellent work experience! If you dine there, make sure to thank them!

Children's Hospital Fundraiser

Great job Joe Waddell and Roslyn Hymel! They raised $1,082 for Children's Hospital this year! Thanks to everyone who participated.

We would also like to Paul Martinez for helping them with their efforts.

Congrats Zanetta & Dottie!

Zanetta Green has been chosen as Employee of the Month for the month of May.   Zanetta goes above and beyond on a daily basis at Magnolia.  She has worked throughout several centers.  She treats these opportunities as a learning experience and uses this time to get to know our clients more.  She shows compassion and understanding to our clients on a daily basis.  Zanetta arrives to work with a smile on her face and is always ready to be a team player.  Zanetta has been a great asset to Magnolia. She receives a lunch ticket and a reserved parking spot for the month!

We would also like to congratulate Dottie Pizana whose name was drawn from the recongition box! She will receive a gift card to WalMart.

The recognition program is based on nomiations by co-workers who see examples of people who go above and beyond their required duties.  We would like to have people nominated that show the qualities we deem important at magnolia, such as compassion, teamwork, sensitivity, and enthusiasm.

Congratulations to both of these wonderful ladies!
